A glimpse at how I view the world…

The man, the myth, the legend; Taylor Wood has moved to Chicago. While he is now dead to me, he is still alive in some small way as we follow each other on Twitter and I’m sure I’ll be up to Chicago again sometime soonish.
Pouring one out to my dead (though zombified) homie.

It’s okay though, technically I was a tourist for that week too.

Kate Ayers awaits the right moment in the music as the Yazoo Shakes play at the Poor and Hungry Cafe in Midtown.
God Bless America.

A friend of my dad’s gave me a NovaTron light setup in exchange for 4 six packs of “interesting” beer. Totally worth it even if the lights kinda suck and don’t have much control. I mean, they’re still studio lights. Anyway, I made Jamie sit in the chair for a moment while I messed around with em.

Saturdays at Overton Park some folks come and have a nice little drum circle. I know a lot of folks don’t really dig that sort of thing but, I think they’re awesome. Seeing a group of people come together and play music is awesome to me. Plus, I really like hearing one person in the group do something really different and listening and as everyone takes in the new sound and incorporates it into their own thing.

Again, took this while attempting to fly fish and camp with my dad and my brother. We went for a short hike by the river and our campsite. I saw this dead tree on the side of a cliff. Though it looked pretty bad ass. So I snapped this photo!
